Art the Clown himself in Poland! “Terrifier 3” premieres at the Splat!FilmFest’s before party

David Howard Thornton – an American actor portraying ART THE CLOWN, the scariest clown of all time, will visit Poland for the Splat!FilmFest Special Event and the Polish (and one of the first in the world!) premiere of the horror film TERRIFIER 3, directed by Damien Leone.

Art the Clown is a character who doesn’t need to be introduced to anyone. He is so scary that the less resilient faint and have nightmares. Now he returns and – like the worst of Santas – will treat everyone he meets on his path to death.

“Terrifier 3” is a part of the series featuring a psychopathic clown-murderer as its protagonist. The latest film takes place at Christmas. However, it will be no silent night in Miles County. As the filmmakers promise – the screams of the victims will break the silence, and blood will stain the snow.

The first film of the series premiered in 2016. Although the project’s budget was only $35,000, it won the audiences’ hearts. The popularity and success of the first movie allowed the ‘Terrifier 2’ to be made for much more money. The sequel was crowdfunded largely by internet users through a campaign on IndieGogo. Damien Leone, the film’s creator, aimed to raise $50,000 but closed the campaign at $250,000. It paid off – after screenings of the second part, viewers were fainting and fleeing the cinema room, and the work was immediately acclaimed as ‘cult’. The Polish premiere was held during the 8th edition of Splat!FilmFest.

The third part of the series will be just as bloody and brutal. Art the Clown will bring back all our fears and traumas. The meeting with the guest star will be hosted by Monika Stolat – creative director of Splat!FilmFest.
