David Howard Thornton
David Howard Thornton is an American actor originally from Huntsville, AL. Recently relocating to Los Angeles, David continues his stage, film, and voice over work. He is best known for his roles as “Grandpa Who” in the 1st to 5TH national tours of “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Musical”, the voice of “Shizoku” and others in the video game “Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom.” David has also portrayed “The Joker” in the YouTube series, “Nightwing Escalation” and has appeared on the “Gotham” TV series. Most notably, David portrays “Art the Clown” the unrelenting killer in the horror film sensation “Terrifier.”
David has reprised his role as “Art” to fan and critical acclaim in the “Mega Slasher” sequel, “Terrifier 2.” David’s superb acting brings “Art” to life as the silent and deadly killer of your nightmares! David can also be seen in the “The Mean One,” a Horror Spoof of “The Grinch” once again showcasing his acting prowess and alongside Pete Davidson on his TV series “Bupkis” as “Art the Clown.” David will once again be donning the “Art the Clown” costume in much anticipated “Terrifier 3” which is scheduled to be released nationwide in theatres on October 11, 2024. David will also be appearing in the upcoming horror films “The Dark Offerings,” “The “Dead Place,” “Stream” and “Screamboat.”
