Splat!FilmFest – International Fantastic Film Festival is the most important event of its kind in Poland and one of the best in the world, celebrating new horror cinema, genre films, and uncompromising arthouse cinema. Our mission is to showcase dark, wild, crazy, and beautiful films.

The program features the premieres of the very best genre films from around the globe – horror, thrillers, dark dramas, black comedies, sci-fi, fantasy – titles you won’t find at any other festival in Poland and which often don’t yet have theatrical distribution here. And all of this comes wrapped in a unique and immersive atmosphere. Here, you’ll find both outstanding entertainment and truly great cinema.

In March 2022, Splat!FilmFest was recognized by the popular American magazine “Dread Central” as one of the best horror film festivals in the world. This was yet another major distinction for the festival. Two years earlier, it was included in “MovieMaker Magazine’s” list of “The 25 Coolest Genre Film Festivals in the World.”

Splat!FilmFest is a proud member of the prestigious Méliès International Festivals Federation (formerly the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation).
