DAVID HOWARD THORNTON aka ART THE CLOWN IN POLAND! TERRIFIER 3 premieres at SPLAT!FILMFEST SPECIAL EVENT

ART THE CLOWN is a character who needs no introduction. He’s so terrifying that the faint-hearted may faint and have nightmares. Now he returns, and to everyone he encounters, he will give the worst Santa Claus gift: death.

David Howard Thornton – an American actor portraying ART THE CLOWN, the scariest clown of all time, will visit Poland at Splat!FilmFest SPECIAL EVENT, along with the Polish (and one of the world’s first!) premiere of the horror film TERRIFIER 3 directed by Damien Leone.

TERRIFIER 3 is the third part of the series featuring a psychopathic killer clown. The action of the latest film will take place during Christmas. However, it won’t be a silent night in Miles County. As the creators assure – screams of victims will break the silence, and blood will stain the snow.

The premiere of the first film in the series took place in 2016. Despite the project’s budget being only $35,000, the film gained recognition from audiences. The popularity and success of the first part led to the production of “Terrifier 2” with significantly larger funds. The second part was largely financed by Internet users through an Indiegogo campaign. The film’s creator, Damien Leone, aimed to raise $50,000 but ended up collecting $250,000. It paid off – after screenings of the second part, viewers fainted and fled the cinema, and the work was immediately hailed as “cult.” The Polish premiere of the film took place during the 8th Splat!FilmFest.

The third part of the series promises to be equally bloody and brutal. Art The Clown will evoke all our fears and traumas. The meeting with the star will be hosted by Monika Stolat – artistic director of Splat!FilmFest.
