Splat!FilmFest Debate: Does Post-Horror Exist at All?

Post-horror is a term that has firmly established itself in film criticism and discussions surrounding horror cinema. But what does it actually mean? Does it have a clear definition, or are we dealing with a term that everyone understands somewhat differently?

During the discussion, we will look beyond the label itself. We will consider which films are described as post-horror, where the need for such a term came from, and what it actually signifies. Does it describe a genuine phenomenon in contemporary cinema, or rather the way we try to categorize and define the evolving landscape of horror?

The debate will feature Tomasz Kolankiewicz, Ewelina Leszczyńska, and Łukasz Orbitowski.

Moderated by Monika Stolat.
