High-Risk Genre: How Genre Films Are Produced in Poland. A Masterclass with Mirella Zaradkiewicz.
Mirella Zaradkiewicz – film producer, creative producer and screenwriter. She has been working in the film industry since 1995. She has worked on Polish and international productions, collaborating with, among others, Michel Piccoli on “La plage noire”, Taylor Hackford on “Proof of Life”, Agnieszka Holland on “Janosik”, and Wojtek Smarzowski on “The Dark House” and “Traffic Department”.
In recent years, as a producer and co-screenwriter, she has focused primarily on genre cinema. She has collaborated with Bartosz M. Kowalski on “Playground”, “Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight”, “Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2”, “The Last Supper”, “Night Silence” and “13 Days Until Vacation”. She also co-wrote the screenplays for the five most recent titles.
For the past several years, she has collaborated with Akson Studio and Netflix, developing and producing film and television projects.
