This new take on the cult classic “The Room” was shot in under 12 hours, on virtually no budget, and features Bob Odenkirk, Bella Heathcote, Kate Siegel and Greg Sestero.
What happens when great actors collide with what some consider the worst script ever written? Tommy Wiseau’s original “The Room” (2003) infamously burned through $6 million and months of shooting with no-name actors. This reimagining flips the myth on its head. Filmed in under 12 hours, on virtually no budget, with Bob Odenkirk, Bella Heathcote, Kate Siegel, Greg Sestero, and executive producer Mike Flanagan, the cast had no rehearsal and only teleprompters to guide them, embracing the material with complete sincerity and Shakespearean gravity, all for charity.
