Méliès International Festivals Federation

Splat!FilmFest is a member of the prestigious Méliès International Festival Federation. It is the association of over twenty major and key international genre festivals from 16 countries around the world, and Splat!FilmFest is the first and only representation of this part of Europe in the Federation.

In 2024, we were for the first time included in the official events program of the Cannes Film Festival as a member of the international Fantastic Pavilion.

Splat!FilmFest, as a member of The Méliès International Festivals Federation, is the organizer of the special MÉLIÈS D’ARGENT competition. Each year, a minimum of six European short films selected by Splat!FilmFest participate in the competition. The best film is voted on by the Jury.
