Ticket sales for the 12th Splat!FilmFest begin on September 25.
This year’s edition will be the biggest in the festival’s history. From October 22–31, we will screen nearly 100 films: horror, thrillers, sci-fi, black comedies, action films, dark arthouse, and movies that refuse to fit neatly into simple genre categories.
The main part of the festival will take place at Kinoteka in Warsaw, where three festival screens will be running throughout the ten-day event. Selected titles – “No Rest for the Wicked,” “Big Break,” and “ÒPI” – will also travel to nine other cities across Poland, bringing the 12th Splat!FilmFest to a total of ten cities for the first time in the festival’s history.
As every year, a significant part of the program will consist of Polish and European premieres, as well as films selected from some of the world’s most important film festivals – titles that often will not later be available through regular theatrical distribution. The program will also include filmmaker meetings, Q&As, retrospectives, and special events.
With nearly 100 titles to choose from, planning your own festival journey will be especially challenging this year. So now is the time to explore the program, mark your must-see films, and get your plan ready for September 25.
Because once ticket sales begin, it’s better to have at least some of those decisions already made.
