Susan Curran

Susan Curran is a Canadian producer and media executive with more than 30 years in film and entertainment and a passion for genre cinema. She created and produced the award-winning supernatural series “Ominous” and is Executive Producer on the upcoming “Meatballs” television series.

She is currently producing “Any Means Necessary: The Outrageous Untold Story of Cinépix”, chronicling the rebellious Montreal company behind some of Canada’s most influential cult and genre cinema. Susan also manages catalogue licensing and IP rights for the Cinépix film library.

Her career spans acquisitions, marketing and distribution, with senior roles at Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada, Vortex Media and A71 Entertainment. Producing credits include The Curse of Audrey Earnshaw and Between the Waves. She also manages a slate of film and television projects with her husband, filmmaker George Mihalka, director of the cult horror classic My Bloody Valentine.
