Pitry

Pitry – she is from Silesia. She decided to become an actress at the age of fifteen, after watching a marathon of the extended editions of “The Lord of the Rings” during a New Year’s Eve celebration.
Before that, she had successfully competed in various sports and became a national wrestling champion. She studied acting at the State Higher School of Theatre (now AST), at the Faculty of Dance Theatre.
During this time, she gained acting experience through appearances in supporting and smaller roles in music videos and television productions, including the Netflix series “Open Your Eyes,” directed by Anna Jadowska, and the Canal+ series “Emigracja XD,” directed by Łukasz Kośmicki. In 2022, she made her big-screen debut as Mycha, one of the lead characters in “Apokawixa,” directed by Xawery Żuławski. The film received awards at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia and the 3K Festival in Prague, and was also screened at numerous international festivals and showcases, including Camerimage, Fantaspoa, and Off Camera.
As a theatre actress and dancer, she has appeared in numerous productions, including “Imię,” directed by Paulina Prokopiuk, for which she received the international “Shaking the Walls” award at ShakespeareOff 2020, playing Ophelia; “Do zobaczenia jutro,” directed by Maciej Sajur; “Zabiłem brata,” directed by Aleksander Kopański; and “Ślepcy,” directed by Jerzy Zoń. As part of her Dance Theatre diploma, she created and performed the solo piece “Kokoszka,” exploring the challenges young women face as they enter adulthood in the contemporary world.
She became known to a wider audience for her role as Lena in the Netflix series “An!ela,” directed by Piątek & Czekaj, and as Róża in the series “Czarna Śmierć,” directed by Czekaj. At this year’s festival in Gdynia, audiences saw her in three films: “Opi,” “Kalafior przeznaczenia,” and the short film “Koty na szkle.”
Alongside acting and dance, which she has studied professionally, her diverse interests have led her to develop a range of other skills, including horse riding, diving (including freediving and mermaiding), martial arts, and fencing.
