Bruno Martín

Bruno Martín (Madrid, 1982) is a film director, screenwriter, editor, actor, and producer. With a solid background forged in the demanding worlds of commercial advertising, web series, and short films, Martín has developed a distinctive narrative style characterized by technical versatility and a raw, visceral mise-en-scène that flows seamlessly between thriller and dark comedy. 

With his feature debut, “Luger” (2025), he has captured the attention of both critics and audiences, establishing a unique voice within independent cinema. Premiered to great acclaim at the 2025 Sitges Film Festival (Òrbita Section), the film emerged as one of the year’s breakout surprises, praised for its ability to maintain suffocating tension and explore human psychology in extreme situations. 

The international tour of “Luger” confirms the strength of his work, having been selected and awarded at prominent genre film festivals worldwide, including Fantastic Fest in Austin (Next Wave Section) and the Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival.
