Michal Vojtech

Michal Vojtech – is a Czech writer and filmmaker from Prague, working across film, theatre, music, literature, and comic books. His work is drawn to the strange, playful, and poetic, and to the ways different forms of storytelling can come together. His previous short film with Ariel, “MEOW!” (2024), won Best Experimental Film at the McMinnville Short Film Festival, received an Honourable Mention at LOCO London, and screened at Leiden Shorts and Norwich Film Festival. Their short film “love bites”, selected among the Top 25 in Straight8, screened at Dead Center Film Festival, Cambridge Film Festival, and London Short Film Festival.
