Well, This Was Meant To Be a Birthday Present
A hand-drawn diary created daily over the course of a year – originally intended as a gift that was never given. Over time, the record begins to fall apart: scenes return, shift their meaning, wound. What was meant to preserve memories becomes an attempt to cope with them. From fragments of everyday life emerges an unstable story about moments that never wanted to be remembered.
